The mission of the Mason Food Pantry is to provide basic food and health care items on a temporary basis to those in need. We are here to serve as an interim support facility rather than a long-term solution. Our services are provided in a respectful, dignified, and cheerful manner to all who knock on our door. The Mason Food Pantry does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
We strive to be more than a food pantry. Our plan is to expand into a food and life center. We have recently conducted research that would allow us to accurately Identify the Greater Needs of our clients:
•Drug Epidemic- Over 500 Drug Overdose Deaths in Cincinnati in 2016
•44,452 People Currently Unemployed in Cincinnati Metropolitan
•Various Companies are Struggling to Find Suitable Employees
•Hospitality (Cooks, Bartenders, Food Preparation Workers) are in high demand
•Trade (Truck Drivers, Electricians, Carpenters, Industrial Heavy Machinery, Construction Laborer)are in high demand
•Health Services (Dental Assistant, Paramedics) are in high demand
•Business & Administration (Receptionists)
• We would like to fill the enormous gap that exists between poverty and abundance. Getting someone back on their feet initially is one thing, but ensuring an individual is equipped and trained to sustain a lifestyle of personal growth and development is another thing entirely. Our commitment to seeing lives transformed and sustained is our vision.
Meeting the Greater Need:
•Establishing Strategic Partnerships with Donors to Obtain Larger Sponsorship
•Increasing Youth Engagement
•Establishing a Kitchen Facility
